Aime Villalovos started this petition to Governor Gavin Newsom and

Eric was charged with a murder he did not commit. He was sentenced to 172 years in prison for double homicide and 8 months for aiding and abetting a peace officer which was his only crime that day. During the trial 2 of the defendants that were with him that night took the stand and admitted their crime. They took the stand and spoke on who what happened that night. But irregardless of them confessing my Eric was still found guilty of 2 counts of first degree murder. During the trial the original autopsy report was lost and the doctor made a new one 3 years after the original autopsy. Eric did not have a gun nor gun powder on his hands. His fingerprints were not on any of the guns because he did not have a gun that day all he has was the keys to a truck. His only crime that night was driving away from police. I would like Gov. Gavin Newsom to pardon Eric for time served and let him come home to his family. Eric is my older brother and he has always been here for me. His been gone since I was 15 he was 18 when he was arrested. Eric has spent his best years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. His missed out on so much of not only his family’s life but his son as well. My brother has a wife and son he loves deeply and he deserves to come home to them. Eric has been gone for 12 years already please help us bring Eric home!
