Paramount+: Release All 17 Withheld South Park Episodes - No Censorship of Art!
The Issue
As fans of South Park — the most fearless, controversial, and impactful animated series of all time — we’re calling on Paramount+ to release the entire series, including the 17 episodes currently excluded from the upcoming July 2025 catalog.
Paramount CEO Bob Bakish previously promised not to censor historical art, saying:
“I don’t believe in censoring art that was made historically… You don’t have to watch anything you don’t want to.”
So why is Paramount+ now removing key episodes, many of which helped define the show’s legacy and solidify Comedy Central’s success?
Episodes like “Super Best Friends,” “Trapped in the Closet,” “200,” and “201” are not just “controversial” — they’re core parts of the cultural conversation that South Park has fearlessly contributed to for over two decades.
This is not about shock value — this is about freedom of expression, artistic consistency, and respecting your audience. By pulling these episodes, Paramount+ is showing a disappointing contradiction between what it says and what it does.
We, the undersigned, demand:
✅ The full release of South Park, uncensored
✅ Paramount+ to honor its commitment to art and consistency
✅ A stand against bending to the pressure of small vocal groups that don’t represent the majority
The truth is: more people support South Park than oppose it. The fan base is loyal, passionate, and principled — and we deserve access to the full content we love and support.
This decision, if left unchanged, will go down as one of the most short-sighted in streaming history. Don’t be a flip-flopper. Do the right thing. Let the art speak for itself. Release all 17 episodes.
✍️ Sign now to stand up for artistic integrity and fan respect.
