we, the undersigned, respectfully request legislation for NYC Parks, to place swim zone safety buoys 500 feet out and parallel to the shoreline at Coney Island and Brighton Beaches. This will serve as a visual guide for all watercraft and swimmers, as well as law enforcement. The swim zone area will insure the safety of families and children and all swimmers. Violators, whether private or commercial, operators and owners of motorized watercraft, venturing within the designated swim zone area, will be fined for each and every offense.
