The Protests Aren't Stopping

Around 40 people took to the streets of Palma today demanding an end to horse-drawn carriages. Five organisations joined forces for the demonstration, marching through the city with a clear message: horses are not tourist attractions.

And today's protest will not be the last.

Campaigners have confirmed they intend to continue demonstrating on Saturdays, keeping pressure on Palma City Council until action is taken. The council has promised to replace horse-drawn carriages before. The horses are still pulling tourists through Palma. So the protests continue.
