Five Organisations Unite for Major Palma Protest

The campaign over Palma's horse-drawn carriages is growing. Five organisations, AnimaNaturalis, PETA, SATYA Animal, Franz Weber Foundation and Progreso en Verde, are joining forces for another demonstration in Palma on Saturday the 26th of September. They are calling on Palma City Council to follow through on its commitment to replace horse-drawn tourist carriages. The council signed another agreement with carriage operators in March, but campaigners say it contains no binding deadline for completing the transition.

Meanwhile, 1,844 people have now signed our petition. The campaign continues.
