First of all I would like to take the time to give everyone an update on RULWA Act.....The Pennsylvania House of Representatives voted late yesterday to pass PaOHV’s long sought Recreational Use of Land and Water Act amendments. This legislation provides new protections shielding landowners from law suits for opening their land for recreational uses including OHV recreation. THIS IS A HUGE STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION FOR ATV ENTHUSIASTS IN PA! Secondly, please SAVE THE DATE for the biggest and best ride of the year: Western PA SxS & ATV 2nd Annual Cancer Sucks Ride to be held on May 14, 2016 at Mountain Ridge ATV Park in Central City, PA! Half of your entry fee will be donated to the American Cancer Society and proceeds from Raffle Ticket Sales will also be donated! Cost to ride is $25/driver and $15 for passenger. We have over $6,500 giveaways and we will be holding a "Chinese Auction" to raffle off the giveaways! Registration will be from 8:00-10:30 and all 50/50 tickets and raffle tickets must be purchased during this time frame if at all possible! We will be meeting back at the Registration area at 1:00 to do the Giveaways and you must be present to win! Cancer Sucks Ride T-shirts and stickers will also be available on a first come first serve basis in the Registration area. D.J's Concessions Trailer will be there with a HUGE menu to choose from for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner! First 50 people to register will get some special giveaways! Camping is available on site and you can make your reservations by call Mountain Ridge ATV Park at 814-279-3147. Don't forget there are other interesting sites close to Mountain Ridge ATV Park such as the site of the Que Creek Mine Accident as well as the Flight 93 Crash Site Memorial.
