Our road rules need to change to stop innocent passengers being killed in road crashes due to inexperienced P plate drivers. On February 19th this year our 18 year old son was killed as an innocent passenger in a car being driven at high speed by a red P plater. The loss of our son has devastated our family, his friends, our family friends, the community and first responders. In New Zealand for the first 12 months of driving you are not allowed to have any passengers and we need the same rule in NSW and Australia to stop these young lives being lost.
