RAISE THE COMPENSATION IN PAY FOR CURRENT AND DIRECT HIRE HOUSEKEEPERS at OMH

The Issue

Current and Direct Hire employees of Environmental Services Housekeeping at Owensboro Medical Health should be compensated in pay for their continued hard work and perseverance to keeping each facility clean and sanitized for our patients and staff in the fight against Covid-19 all the while being severely understaffed and overworked! Owensboro Medical Health at this time is assuring us that they are looking over the numbers and the pay rates of other facilities to try and decide if our department of CURRENTLY EMPLOYED HOUSEKEEPERS are worthy of a pay raise. With that being said newly hired employees that go through the Temp Service are being offered a starting pay of $14 per hour. THAT RATE IS BY FAR GREATER THAN OUR CURRENT EMPLOYEES!

Our dedication and loyalty is first and foremost to our patients as well as the employees of each facility! We strive to keep everyone safe and healthy under extenuating circumstances! If you are in agreement that we would should get a raise in pay we would  appreciate your support in signing this petition letting our employer know that us dedicated and loyal housekeepers are very much deserving of at the very least equal pay to the new hires that go through the Temp service. We say THANK YOU to our family, friends and work families for your continued love and support and we are blessed to have each and every one of you help us in this effort!
                With love and sincerity,
                        Your Environmental Services Staff
