I witnessed firsthand, the heart-wrenching consequences of animal testing on a few rescued dogs. Their suffering is a reminder of the unnecessary brutality they endured in the name of product development. Each year, millions of animals, like these dogs, are used in excruciatingly painful experiments, mostly to test cosmetics and household products.

 Animal testing throughout the medical field started by ancient Greek doctors between 384-322 BC and is still being used today. That is over 2,345 years ago! Can you believe it? Animals have been abused for that long! That is longer than ANY species of human has been treated wrongly.

I am 13 year old student that has recently discovered the horrors of animal testing and I decided that this problem isn't going to be left in the dust, I am going to try my hardest to fix this problem so hopefully you can help. My idea is to send a letter with this petition attached to Peter Malinauskas asking to outlaw the sale of animal-tested products in SA. This means that it would be illegal to sell products and if any stores were then they would get and extremely heavy fine or they would be forced to close down.
