As someone deeply concerned with the lives of dogs, witnessing shelters and rescues overflowing with animals whilst breeders like David Hamilton continue operating is disheartening. David Hamilton runs what is believed to be Europe's prominent dog breeding establishment, Hamilton's puppy farm (aka Furnish Kennels) located at 83 Clabby Road, Fivemiletown, Fermanagh, United Kingdom, BT75 0QY. They breed and transport puppies all across the UK and beyond, engaging in a practice commonly known as "dog milling." Fermanagh and Omagh district council have so far allowed this to continue.

Despite overwhelming evidence of the harm caused by puppy mills, breeders like Hamilton continue to profit from the misery of innocent animals. Research indicates the dogs bred in such environments often suffer from health issues and psychological trauma due to the conditions they are kept in (source: The Humane Society). 

It is time we prioritized the lives of these animals and fought against establishments such as Hamilton's puppy farm. We urge the Fermanagh and Omagh district council to reconsider their stance on this issue, outlaw dog milling activities at Hamilton's puppy farm, and make their operation illegal.
