Many of you may have heard the heartbreaking news that Renee Good was shot and killed by an ICE officer on January 7, 2026, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This was a tragic and unacceptable loss of life that should never have happened.

In honor of Renee Good and all those who have lost their lives at the hands of the Department of Homeland Security, a vigil has been organized locally by Indivisible and Connect Kankakee.

This vigil will take place here in Bourbonnais, and community members are encouraged to attend and make their voices heard.
