Dear Supporters,

We are thrilled to announce that we’ve reached 186 signatures on our petition to hold the City of Ottawa accountable for the flood damages caused by the August 10, 2023, storm. We're so close to hitting the 200 mark, and your support has been absolutely invaluable in getting us this far!

The City continues to deny compensation to the residents affected by this preventable disaster, despite clear evidence that the storm sewer system was overwhelmed and underprepared. But thanks to your voices, we are showing the City that we won’t stand by and let them off the hook.

We’re pushing forward to reach 300 signatures, a crucial milestone that will help us take this fight to the Supreme Court. Every signature brings us closer to accountability and real change.

Now, we need your help to spread the word. Please share this petition with friends, family, and your community in Ottawa and beyond. Together, we can ensure that no one else has to suffer from the consequences of poor infrastructure and outdated laws.

Thank you for your continued support and passion. Let's push forward and hit that 200 signature goal!

Best regards,
Joe Achakji
