THIS PETITION TO BOTH:

THE PLANNING COMMISSION Public Hearing DATE June 27, 2024. Planning Commission: Tom Harl, Niles Chalifoux, Jolene Sheive, R. LeWayne Johnson, Michael Delong, Shawn Hindle, LaVell Monger, Sam Haught and Scott Ramsey.

AND

THE BOARD OF OSCEOLA COUNTY, FL COMMISSIONERS Public Hearing DATE July 15, 2024. Commissioners: Ricky Booth, Cheryl Grieb, Peggy Choudhry, Brandon Arrington and Viviana Janer.

WE, THE RESIDENTS/PROPERTY OWNERS OF RURAL ENCLAVE, SURROUNDING COMMUNITY and COMMUTERS PETITION AGAINST: The Comprehensive Planned Amendment APPLICATION CPA23-0006 to rezone from RURAL ENCLAVE to Low Density Residential.

REQUEST ADHERENCE to the current zoning, PROTECT and PRESERVE Our RURAL ENCLAVE. A BIG NO to CPA23-0006 REZONING from RURAL ENCLAVE to LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL:

Current Residents purchased in this area because of long established DEED RESTRICTED RURAL ENCLAVE. This would negatively affect our quality of life. NO REZONING

6/23/24 UPDATE: LDR Zoning Includes TOWNHOMES!!!

6/4/2024 Revision NOW 36 acres (8 homes / 36 acres = 288 house multiply by  4.5 cars / household = 1,296 more cars on Narcoossee Road. (Note: 36 acres on record from 6/4/2024 Osceola County Development Review Committee Meeting on Agenda Item # 4)

(Originally: A rezoning to LDR of these 26 acres means (8 homes / acres = 208 homes at least 2 cars / home = 416 cars onto Star Line Drive and Narcoossee Road. The community already has issues with SAFETY and TRAFFIC congestion on Narcoossee Road.)

6/3/2024 Revision: Osceola County bases cars on 4.5 per dwelling.

This Rezoning is NOT for “THE GREATER GOOD” of existing residents and Narcoossee Road Commuters. PLEASE, “For the greater good”, VOTE NO.

First and Foremost - These property owners trying to rezone are investors that do not live on premises, in Our County and some out-of-state according to Osceola Property Appraisers Search. During purchase buyers aware that this is deed restricted rural enclave land and buy for that reason. This was a rural enclave area when they (applicants to rezone) purchased their land. They should have done their do diligence when investing in land development.

NO REZONING as this land is a RURAL ENCLAVE!
