Hello Neighbors,

I attended BOCC Open Public Hearing they hold once a month this past Monday @ 5:30. I wanted to check out this public forum. 

It is a time to bring up concerns and requests to Commissioners. Learned you have to sign up ONLINE ONLY by 5 pm Sunday day before Public Hearing. NO signing up permitted on day of. You get 3 minutes to speak and no transferring of others time allowed. 

My thought was we need to be PROACTIVE and not wait on these investors / developers to reapply as they continue to buy up rural enclave #5 properties along Narcoossee Rd. This would NEGATIVELY IMPACT us ALL inside rural enclave and surrounding community as well. 

PLEASE, Push for Rural Enclave Protections NOW! CONTINUE to EMAIL and CALL each Commissioner. Just resend the same message regularly. Maybe, every 2 weeks or so. (RESPECTFULLY Follow Uo / Request Status as we need their help.) 

REMINDER use same message but must EMAIL COMMISSIONERS INDIVIDUALLY not as a group.

Back to 8/12/2024 Monday Night: Unfortunately only 2 out of 5 Commissioners were present that night Commissioners Brandon Arrington and Cheryl Grieb along with two County Lawyers. Others on travel, sick and loss of family member. I am planning on going again until action is being taken.

From what I understand two Commissioners up for Re-election including our District #5 and one Commissioner not seeking Re-election.
