Support for citizens with developmental disabilities is in danger!

Ten years ago, over 3000 Oregonians with developmental disabilities fought and won a legal battle against the State of Oregon in Staley v. (Governor) Kitzhaber. Those citizens charged that they were denied access to support services that they were entitled to receive under the law. Those services are also essential to providing our most vulnerable citizens with an acceptable quality of life.

Today, as most states are tightening their belts, the Oregon Department of Human Services and Oregon lawmakers are threatening to once again deny our most at-risk citizens the support they were guaranteed ten years ago.

Tell Oregon lawmakers and the Oregon Department of Human Services not to cut funding for supports and services that Oregon's developmentally disabled depend on!
