Opposing high density zoning at 111th and Arapahoe Rd.

The Issue

I live in the Beacon Hill neighborhood and strongly oppose high impact development of this parcel of land.

The traffic coming through our development will be a danger to us along Lucerne Dr. There's a cross walk there at Vetch Circle and Lucerne that very few cars pay attention already.  The cars coming off 111th or 287 will know it's a thorough fare road .

Animal habitats being destroyed. They then come into our neighborhood for food,  small animals and pets.

We have yet to recover from the 9 Mile corner development.  Traffic congestion, not mention emergency vehicles trying to maneuver through cars on a 2 lane roads.

Lafayette home owners paying taxes to maintain these roads and Erie once again reaping the tax revenue .

Erie has so much land already why would this even be a consideration except for money.  Home values will decrease,  how does that help the low income people. My husband and I are retired and have made many sacrifices to hold on to our house.  We qualify as low income .

Colorado is a beautiful state to live in.  The way we maintain our state to keep it beautiful is not by selling to outside land developers at the cost of its citizens for money.  I have 7 generations in my family born in Colorado and I'm incredibly sad to see how Erie doesn't care about their people or Lafayette

I strongly oppose this high impact zone keep it agricultural or build a park
