Oppose the Request for Special Exception and COA for 336 Barnard Street

The Issue

Please support our appeal of the special exception and certificate of appropriateness (COA) approved for the proposed building at 336 Barnard Street, Savannah, GA.  We are also raising funds for legal fees. Please consider donating to our gofundme account at https://gofund.me/37c92cdf

Without the special exception, building as proposed does not comply with the City of Savannah's Zoning Ordinance, because it incorrectly places its primary entrance, and therefore entrance facade, facing the wrong direction. That placement is inconsistent with the Oglethorpe Plan, the bedrock for the designation of the Downtown Savannah National Landmark Historic District.  Please oppose any special treatment for this developer, and preserve the Oglethorpe Plan and the Historic District.
