Oppose the St. John's Pl/Sterling Pl proposal to implement bike lanes and the reconfiguration of the entire corridor. This will add more congestion, increased gridlock and exacerbate the areas air quality conditions. The lanes would cause dangerous and conflicting situations with the postal facility, the MTA buses, school buses, commercial deliveries and the fire stations. Furthermore, the lanes would create a dangerous situation for the large amount of children and seniors when crossing.
