As a concerned European citizen, I am deeply troubled by the imminent implementation of the European Digital ID. This legislation, which was agreed upon despite strong warnings from 504 privacy and cybersecurity experts from 39 countries, threatens our right to privacy and secure online communications. These experts have voiced their concerns about this legislation's potential pitfalls, yet their warnings seem to have fallen on deaf ears.

The introduction of this digital identification system is not just an issue for me personally; it affects each and every one of us as citizens of Europe. Our freedom is at stake here - our freedom to live without constant surveillance, our freedom to communicate securely online and to manage our money...

This petition aims to gather signatures against this violation of our freedoms. We must stand together against such invasive measures that fail to respect our rights as individuals. It's time we make it clear that we value our privacy!
