The city of Abbotsford council has voted to not approve the housing agreement required for this project to move forward.  BC housing won’t be able to move forward with this location.  Councillors noted safety concerns for students and the public and poor transit options.  As well as Abbotsford police departments report sighting a likely increase of calls to a very low crime area with likely increase in property crime if project was approved for that location.
