Thank you to everyone who has already made a submission opposing the 6-storey Indigo by Moran development on Ocean Street.

We've had over 350 submissions lodged so far - an incredible show of community spirit. This is an amazing achievement considering the shortened notification period (only 14 days instead of 28) and the ongoing technical issues with the Governments planning portal. On top of that the independent review panel has now been removed and residents have faced pressure from developers. Yet our community continues to stand strong, united and determined to protect the unique coastal character of Narrabeen.
SMH reported 27 Sept, Chris Minns said "This Bill is about clearing the path for the right development, in the right places, with the right outcomes for the community"
Community Rally - Saturday 8 November 10AM
156 Ocean Street Narrabeen (former Wesley Taylor site)
We've been told that to truly make our voices head, we need to show the State Government and Developers just how united this community is.
Please join us this Saturday 8 November at 10AM. For a respectful, family-friendly community rally to demonstrate our shared commitment to better planning for the northern beaches. Bring your friends, neighbours, banners and positive energy. Lets fill the street with support for sustainable planning and fair community representation.
We are not opposed to new initiatives for affordable housing, or much needed aged care facilities. They must be responsible, sustainable and within planning guidelines that protect our neighbourhood, environment and infrastructure. Together we can make sure the future of Narrabeen reflects the community, not the developers!
