Oppose parole release of Kenneth Troy Heller
The Issue
On October 24, 2020, our lives were irreversibly changed when, while hunting, Kenneth Troy Heller (DOC#QK7733) shot and killed our son as he was watching the sunset with his girlfriend at Lake Nockamixon in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He took our son's life in a senseless and brutal act of violence. Since then, not a day goes by without the hollow reminder of our son's absence, and the dreams we will never see him fulfill, like enlisting in the Air Force, getting married, and creating a family of his own. The impact of this tragedy extends beyond our family, affecting our entire community and leaving a permanent scar on countless lives.
At this pivotal moment, as we rally against the potential parole of Kenneth Troy Heller.
Parole is a privilege, not a right!!!
Granting parole to a convicted murderer who has yet to demonstrate genuine remorse to the family and has only served the minimum of the sentence imposed would be a grave misjudgment. We need to hold him accountable. Keeping our communities safe should be our top priority. The release of Kenneth Troy Heller presents a significant risk to public safety and undermines the severity of his crime and the justice achieved through his initial sentencing.
We implore the parole board to consider the ramifications of their decision. Upholding his sentence is an affirmation that we value justice and public safety above all else. Kenneth Troy Heller must remain incarcerated to uphold the sanctity of life and to deter others from committing similar atrocities.
Please join us in urging the board to deny parole to Kenneth Troy Heller, a move that protects our community and honors the memory of Jason Albert Kutt (forever 18) harmed by his actions. Sign this petition to ensure that justice is served, and we prevent the further heartache that his release could inflict upon our community.
