On the 29th April a male baboon was the latest victim of the baboon killer in Pringle Bay, it has been suggested that the weapon of choice is a high velocity airgun. 
The baboon was baited and shot. 

The nameless cold blooded, cowards have used a variety of methods to kill baboons including poisoning. The killer is protected by a close-knit enclave of residents who publicly call for the removal of the baboons from the village.

The current official management of the baboons could be encouraging residents to take up arms. Residents outspoken about the cruelty to the baboons have had their tyres slashed and paint thrown on their cars.

We urge that the Overstrand Municipality stop this violent method of mismanagement with immediate effect.
