The Village of Hampshire Board of Trustees voted on September 21st to annex and rezone 280 North and South of Dietrich Road. They voted against a series of special uses that had been requested. Many thanks to the Board of Trustees for acknowledging and addressing community members concerns. A huge shout out to all who attended the many meetings that lead up to this vote and especially those who educated themselves and voiced their concerns. As I understand it, the next portion of the public facing process includes information regarding possible development plans to be presented to the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Board of Trustees.
