Thank you all for staying connected with us through this long 2-year ordeal. A new version of this development is back on the table and the first reading of the rezoning will be this Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 7:00PM in Franklin City Hall. The last vote by the Planning Commission was more decisive and they still do not recommend approval.
We are requesting our supporters to please join us at this meeting, get your yellow "Vote No" sticker to wear and be there in masses to show the Board of Mayor and Aldermen that this is not a good plan for our community at large. This will set a precedence for future developments along the Harpeth River. Several developments that were not in the flood plain when built, are now finding themselves needing flood insurance as their properties have been damaged and are now in the flood plain.
This meeting is not a public hearing and most likely they will vote on it to go to public hearing for April 26th, but either way, we need people at this meeting and the next. If by some miracle they disapprove this on 3/22, then it is a done project. Help us help them, join us at City Hall.
Please join us and help Keep Williamson County Livable and safe for all.
