Petition updateOPPOSE High Density and Mixed Use Development on Brownland FarmURGENT CALL TO ACTION FOR BROWNLAND FARM
Keep Williamson County LivableFranklin, TN, United States
Oct 8, 2021

The Development Plan was deferred and the public hearing is now scheduled for October 12, 2021 at 7:00 PM at Franklin City Hall.  At last month's public hearing for the re-zoning and development plan,  new information became available about the flood waters and elevation on the roads which needed City Staff's review with emergency response, so they requested a deferral.  We need to flood BOMA with emails again by Monday Oct 11th evening and encourage them to support their staff and disapprove this plan for this property. The Planning Commission and the City Staff do not recommend this for approval, but BOMA is entertaining the idea. Here are the email addresses:

Here is a link to the recent Harpeth Conservancy blog about this development.  Please read this and be informed.  Show up on Tues night.  Common Sense says you do not build in a flood plain and the city regulations support this common sense.  Why not the Aldermen?
