The problem is simple the horsemen and women of Spokane County have an indoor arena that is not used for its intended purpose all winter long. The avid horsemen and women of Spokane are wanting to use THEIR county fairgrounds indoor arena during the winter. The fairgrounds offer a safe place to park and ride/exercise their horse. By allowing access to the fairgrounds indoor arena individuals will be able to continue to ride and enjoy their horses during the winter months, mounted groups (Volunteers, non-profits, educational), and those that may not have the funds to regularly rent an indoor arena locally.  Open the indoor riding arena at the Spokane County fairground during the winter months and let the horsemen and women continue to ride, exercise and enjoy their horses.

Thanks for reaching out.  Yes, we do offer Indoor Arena riding for individuals, as well as for groups.  We keep a pretty full schedule here and our Indoor Arena is no exception, we host a variety of Dog Shows and Flat Track Racing in the Arena in the Winter as well.  For groups we do require insurance and the cost is $150.00 for 4 hours, for individuals we offer 3 hour blocks 9am-noon, 1pm-4pm and 5pm-8pm, with up to 6 riders per block, $15.00 per rider.

Our dates we have so far scheduled for individual riding are:

11/16, 11/17, 11/30, 12/1, 12/7, 12/8, 12/14, 12/15, 12/21, 12/22, 12/28, 12/29

Our dates for group riding we have so far scheduled are:

11/19, 11/20, 12/10, 12/11, 12/17, 12/18

Please keep in mind that none of these dates/times are for horse shows, but for equestrian exercise/practice.
