We request to abolish Orygen/Headspace and to offer youth mental health treatment and counselling by all public mental health service providers. The lack of competition with the ONLY service now offered to any teenagers being Orygen/Headspace has lead to the ABSENCE OF ANY SUPPORTS, as Orygen/Headspace is incompetent and non-functional. Parents of kids with ADHD/ASD, which have skyrocketed in incidents, are being turned in circles and are not receiving any concrete therapy or counselling for their kids. An increasing number of youth and future adults will be shot by police, cause serious harm to others, or end up in jail. Even foster carers looking after teens with severe PTSD and BPD are not receiving any concrete help, just useless voices on a phone telling them that "this must be very stressful". This is a crisis! Sign now to force federal and state governments to open all mental health services to take in and treat teenagers.
