Open a Super Target In Bartlesville, Oklahoma

The Issue

Bartlesville, OK has a population of roughly 38,000 people and is a growing town that stands on the border of Kansas and Oklahoma. Roughly 45 minutes north of Tulsa, Bartlesville is one of the last mid-sized towns with amenities within the next 100 miles to the north, east, or west. Nestled in a fertile area known as "Green Country", our area is the home of a few well known brands, such as Phillips 66. As our population has grown, we have seen diminishing access to a wider range of goods & services. Not only does Bartlesville's shopping locations serve the city of Bartlesville, they also serve the smaller, more rural communities around it, such as Nowata, Dewey, Ochelata, and Ramona--just to name a few. Currently, the only major retailer in town is Wal-Mart and few other small (but expensive) grocery stores. Because of the lack of options and supply chain crunch, it is incredibly common to see stock run low (or run out) and for the quality of goods to be somewhat lacking at times. We would like to see more well-known and established retail stores with a range of pricing options come to Bartlesville and feel that Target would be a great first step.
