I'm so grateful to all of you for raising your voice in the fight to save Rose of Sharon non-profit Korean Long-Term Care. Thank you for sharing your courage and strength by telling your personal stories and expressing your outrage in the comments left here. I've passed these on to the MLTC Director and Minister of Long-Term Care Merrilee Fullerton along with your urgent demand to deny the license to Rykka.
If what Minister Fullerton said is true and "Our priority as a government is the safety and well being of residents and staff and families in long-term care." the choice is clear, the Ministry must deny the transfer of Rose of Sharon's LTC license to Rykka.
Today is the closing day for public participation. I will leave the petition open until midnight Eastern time, Monday, December 14th.
The Ministry Director will then conduct a licensing review that includes reviewing public comments and this petition. I will post an update as soon as a decision is announced.
Until then, stay safe and stay strong.
