In case you missed it - there was a HUGE uproar because this one rogue PSW decided it would be fun to make a TikTok account and MOCK our vulnerable on it as a PSW.
This PSW is also "The Official TikTokker of OPSWA". They promoted her, shared her content, and even posted their own deplorable content.
To this day - SEVEN DAYS LATER - they have shown NO remorse, NO apology has been issued, NO accountability for YEARS of sharing this horrible content.
In fact, they have only issued a simple, blanket statement that really, says nothing.
And they are taking even further - especially on Twitter. They are blocking anyone who dares tag them speaking up about these issues and against these issues... in true OPSWA form. There are now hashtags of #HoldOPSWAaccountable #SayNoToTheO #InvestigateOpswa
Lets not forget that she also runs the Canadian Support Workers Association as well as The Ontario Personal Support Workers Association. She is NOT the voice, or the representation of PSWs in Canada, or Ontario.
Calls for accountability, apologies from the OPSWA and Shelby as well as demanding her partners and corporate sponsors not only re-evaluate their relationships with her, but there is also a public outcry for the government to remove OPSWA from the Staffing Accelerator group.
