Demand U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland start an investigation into Copyfraud (illegal copyrights) by the Christ Center on public lectures from 1970’s and 1980’s. These lectures by Audle Allison were previously pronounced as public domain by these same people, but the organization was called Lotus Center back then in 1988.
1.) Identity Theft
2.) Perjury in all applications
3.) False chain of title with a faked-up “Will.”
4.) Audle Allison taught his followers that he wanted everyone to teach his material. So how can it have a copyright? We have 100 statements that support that the taped lectures are indeed public domain as stated, these followers have signed statements that Mr. Allison’s public lectures were indeed sold to the general public.
In 2014, the Christ Center began putting illegal copyrights on this material which was 30 to 40 years old at the time. So the only way to get copyrights was with perjury statements. They, Christ Center under the direction of Billy B. signed that this lecture material on tapes was never given to the general public, while in fact; it was widely sold, given out to volunteers and used as library materials. I have their sales lists and it’s most likely listed on the old IRS forms for Lotus Center sales of a non-profit. This perjury was the only way to get a copyright for such old material. It was under a different copyright law, in the 1970’s and 80’s.
In 2014, The Christ Center used Pauline Allison as a claimant and a “living widow” to renew the book entitled ,”Meditation, Ancient Teachings of the Masters, by Audle Allison.” What they didn’t tell the Copyright Office was that Pauline Allison had deceased in 2005, which makes this a case of Identity Theft.
In 1988, at a board meeting of the Lotus Center (now Christ Center) Harvey E., attorney states that there are no intellectual property in Audle Allison’s “Will” and that it doesn’t matter, everything is public domain anyway. He explained that nothing was given a proper copyright notice and nothing was filed in the 5 year timeline! (Which seems to be true when you examine the time line--- that they were trying to rewrite history by getting copyrights 30 to 40 years later.)
Examine how Audle Allison’s “Will” did not have intellectual property in 1988, however, they, Christ Center wrote a letter and added it to the Federal Court case stating that the “Will” has it added from 1985. And that the copyrights are given to the Lotus Center and to others not specified in the letter. That “Will” needs to be compared to the original “Will” that is currently owed by the Allison family.
Audle Allison had a secretary helping him format his lecture materials and she has given a statement that Audle Allison left his material in public domain. The Lotus Center (now Christ Center) had a CPA who was at that board meeting whereby everything was pronounced public domain. He has given a letter in support of these facts as well. Overall, there are 100 letters from former followers of Audle that state the same thing; that “yes” indeed the public lectures were sold to the general public. See the federal case for all those letters.
I, Veronica Elam, am suffering, because the Christ Center under Billy B. wants to shut down Audle’s teachings and become the only source that is quoting him. They shut down my biography written in 2013 with illegal copyrights and that was 25 years of my research. They have harassed me to pay a judgment that I cannot afford and they want to take a lien and foreclose on my home. That’s the only thing I have left!
Bankruptcy was supposed to give me a fresh start, but no they want to file “Objection to Discharge” and have a legal team go against me in court and I don’t have the funds to make a defense! However, I can prove fraud in every piece of evidence against me
Demand U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland and Oklahoma representatives start an investigation into Copyfraud by the Christ Center.
Updates:
Why did Veronica write Audle Allison’s biography (2013)?
I wrote Audle’s biography because I loved his teachings and wanted to share it as he taught me to share. As I collected the historical information, doors opened to finding his history and several people gave me Audle’s personal memorabilia. I knew that Mr. Allison’s quotes were public domain because I attended that particular board meeting. I never guessed they would perjury themselves to stop my book.
Why didn’t the Federal Court or the Copyright Office investigate?
The copyright office is not an investigatory office, they only record, so getting a copyright with inaccurate information is just as easy as requesting it and pay the fee. The Federal Court system “rubber stamps” anyone with a copyright as being the winner of any infringement case. The court has been doing this for about 100 years. The only way to win is have enough money to sue the Copyright Office or get a federal investigation. In my research, nobody has ever been prosecuted for illegal copyrights. Maybe this should change!
Why didn’t Veronica research copyrights before publishing?
I, Veronica did my research and there were no Christ Center copyrights on the copyright database until 2 years after my book was published. However Billy B. wrote to my publisher and stopped publication before he applied for the illegal copyrights. These fraudulent applications were done about 30 to 40 years after the original lecture materials were given to the general public.
What was the court decision?
The Plaintiff Christ Center obtained $110,000 judgment against me, Veronica. Without money or powerful people backing, anyone would lose an infringement case especially when the system is one-sided. My appeals attorney stated to me that it appeared like the Judge had made up his mind and did not even review my 100 letters of support. And the Identity Theft issue came in too late. Now, they want to take a lien on my home from bankruptcy court.
Is the lawsuit only for Audle’s recorded lectures? Or books, drawings, too?
The lawsuit includes the books, “Looking, That is What You Will Find,” and the “Parables” and the book “Meditation, Ancient Teachings of the Masters”, as well. All of Audle’s books except the meditation book was pronounced public domain by Harvey Ellis (attorney) at the board meeting of 1988. Overall, he stated to look at the notices in the books; none were done up to legal standards. And yes I did look. The Author’s name was nowhere in the notices and the date wasn’t given in one book and the words, “copyright pending” was not up to legal standards.
What are the requirements for copyrighting audio recordings from the 1970’s and 1980’s?
From my research, copyrights of the 1970’s and 80’s had to be filed within a 5 year time frame and have a copyright notice as by the exact specifications of law. This notice had to be given out in the first publication and continue with each publication. The only way around this requirement is if the material was never given to the general public. So as a way to re-write history, the Christ Center claimed it was never given to the general public!
