The Issue

Cleveland City Council of Ohio have decided to vote in favor of raising the Age limit to purchase cigarettes to 21 years of age. Once Mayor Jackson signs and approves this proposal, there will be 120 days to set the new law into place. We have until then to sign this petition against the banning of tobacco sales to those citizens 21 years under. We as citizens have the right to vote against the proposal since it was already set into law what the minimum age limit was so forth to be at least 18 years of age to be able to purchase cigarettes. Let's take a stand against this proposal and gain out rights to smoke as legal citizens able to vote, serve for the military, live on our own, and our right to smoke back into our rights! We shouldn't have to give in to this, us are 18,19, and 20 year olds deal with enough stress such as school, working, and life issues. Cigarettes are nice to fall back on through our stressful times, and them taking them away from us is not just! Its time to give our say so in this and get as many signatures that we can to go against this. Join me in gaining our smoking rights back together!
