Most student workers at Ohio State are paid anywhere from $8.55/hr to $12/hr, with the majority being at or below $10/hr.

None of this is livable, none of this is acceptable. During 2020-21, despite claims of financial distress, OSU had an exceptionally strong financial year with an increase in its gains to $2.961 billion. Nonetheless, OSU held back compensation to faculty, staff and students.

OSU has over $9 billion in cash and investment reserves and over $4 billion of the university's net assets are unrestricted. 

Student workers organizing at Ohio State demand the following:

- $15 minimum wage
- Free CampusPARC for student workers
- Higher holiday pay and paid sick leave
- More frequent and larger wage increases
- Advocate for higher work hour limits for international and DACA students
