Gov. Dewine, Veto Ohio bill SB215 (Permitless concealed carry)

Gov. Dewine, Veto Ohio bill SB215 (Permitless concealed carry)
The Issue
Governor Dewine has recently passed bill SB215, allowing Ohio residents over 21 years of age to carry a concealed weapon with no training and no background check. This bill also eliminates the requirement to notify police officers of a weapon, unless asked. According to the Ohio Supreme Court, concealed carry is not protected under the second amendment. Gun violence in Ohio has done nothing but increase in the last 10 years, and this bill only seeks to hurt Ohio residents while lining the pockets of gun associations and those who take their bribes, such as Governor Dewine. Sign this petition, make Gov. Dewine veto Ohio bill SB215 before it becomes law on June 12, 2022.
