The primary role of a school officer is to maintain order and security on school grounds and provide a positive learning environment. School police are encouraged to engage with students, teachers, staff, and the community to foster school-police partnerships. 

When there are no officers in the school fights and shootings will be more common. I have seen a fight when there was no officer and both kids were not stopping and ended up getting injured. I also have seen a fight when there was an officer. The officer broke them up and ended it quickly with no casualties.

Having an officer will also bring down bullying to your children. I think every parent wants their kids to be safe going to school and have comfort with their learning environment.
