Dear Citizens,

Thank you for signing this petition. As you all know, the PILs filed by the various environmentally conscious NGOs and citizens have had some success in the Bombay High Court and the reclamation work has been stopped until June 3rd when the Chief Justice and Justice Jamdar will examine the case in detail.

Public opinion is important because it shows that citizens care about their city and how it is developed. We are all pro-development but we want the development to be socially just and environmentally responsible. One of the reasons there are only 22,000 signatures on this campaign and not 22 lac is because people are misinformed about the Coastal Road Project. They believe the CR will solve all the problems of our city.

Please understand the facts and help us to spread the correct information. The spreading of truth is the only way to get 22 lac signatures. Please save the attached photo from our FB page . Fact and Fiction  Read up and learn by heart the 5 points - and then go and please spread the word.
