“The arc of the moral universe is long but it bends toward justice.” - Martin Luther King

In front of a packed courtroom, the bench of Chief Justice Pradeep Nandrajog and Justice Nitin Kamdar continued the stay on the Mumbai Coastal Road Project. The bench dismissed applicants who sought to intervene in support of the coastal road, including the contractor L&T as it has a proprietary commercial interest in the litigation.

No further reclamation work can take place until the matter is heard again on 3rd June, in spite of the BMC counsel’s objection that the work might get washed away in the monsoon because of this long date.

Please continue to share this petition and get more signatures. This is just one more battle won in a long war. We need tens of thousands of signatures to make our voices heard. Please help make this country a better place to live in!
