Right-wing and racist groups have been encouraging their followers to 'bring down' Diversity after their magnificent, powerful performance on BGT in which they tackled subjects such as racism, COVID 19 & the killing of George Floyd. The performance also paid tribute to the black lives matter movement. I have been sent screenshots of posts taken from right-wing and thinly veiled racist social media groups in which members are encouraging and directing each other to complain  providing them with a complaint letter format and an online link to Ofcom. Screenshots of the messages are available. I want to ask Ofcom to carry out an investigation  to identify any 'foul play'. Mainstream media have reported receiving a disproportionate number of complaints so I am hoping for full disclosure of the numbers of complaints. I think it is reasonable to request information on the content of the complaints that is not subject to Data Protection. Lastly, I will ask Ofcom to issue a press release on their findings once they have completed their investigation.
