Lower the Grade Boundaries of the OCR Core 1 Mathematics Paper

Lower the Grade Boundaries of the OCR Core 1 Mathematics Paper
The Issue
On May 18th 2016 students around the country sat an OCR Core 1 Mathematics Paper.
It is clear that this paper was significantly more difficult than any other previous past paper set, as questions of this format have never been seen before.
On behalf of students around the country, we strongly urge that OCR lower the grade boundaries in order to reflect the massive difference in difficulty in this year's paper compared to all previous years.
The lowest grade boundaries were in January 2011 where an A was 54, and a B was 47. The 2016 paper was significantly more difficult, so grade boundaries should lower than this to accurately reflect the candidates knowledge and intelligence.
