In our OCR F324 textbooks, we are directly told that we will never be examined on the structure or reactions of 2,4-DNP. This meant that a large majority of students did not learn or prepare for this, yet it was still asked for us in the June 2015 paper. Automatic full marks for questions involving 2,4-DNP should be given, as lack of preparation for said questions is the fault of OCR, and could put many students' university offers at risk.
