Can I ask for your help?
We’re coming down to the last month of the campaign. The rubber is meeting the road.
I know you agree with the message – parent voices need to be heard, kids first in our education!
You understand how important it is to elect School Board members that are willing to act that way when sitting on the Board.
I’ve been out there talking to people for a month now, I’ve knocked on almost 700 doors, and I’ve found that when we can communicate that message – just a few sentences – people agree!
If you agree on the importance of this, now would be a great time to help.
Tomorrow I’m having a meet-and-greet at MLK Park. I know if I can talk to people directly, we can get them on our side. Details are below.
Can you come to that meeting and spread the word among your friends?
We also need to do everything we can to spread the word out there!
Would you be willing to:
- Knock on some of your neighbor’s doors and talk to them? I can provide you with lists for your street(s), flyers, campaign buttons, and yard signs to give out.
- Make some phone calls to “get out the vote”? I can provide phone lists.
- Spend a little time standing on major intersections with a sign? Let me know, we’ll be organizing that effort.
- Have a small gathering of friends or neighbors in your back yard or your community rec room? I’d be happy to be there and talk to people!
- Host a yard sign to show your support for “Kids First!”? I can get you one (I have connections….). My district only at this point, please, there are only so many signs. https://www.todd4kids.com/district

Did you know it costs almost $2000 to send out a single round of mailers to voters in our district?
Our teachers themselves are great, but did you know our teacher’s union collects almost a million dollars a year in dues from members that is now being used against us?
You are our best weapon in this.
Unfortunately many people really don’t pay much attention to School Board races, even though all would tell you “my kids are the most important things in my life”.
Having you – someone they know – tell them how important it is to vote for the right side in this election can easily get them to recognize just how easy it can be to make a difference!
