IF YOU LIVE IN ILLINOIS - PLEASE consider sending an email to all or any of the following legislators in SUPPORT of HB688.  Rep. Mazocchi is sponsoring this bill; it would require more levels of approval before a structure like the dam on Salt Creek could be blown up!   The bill is being heard by the State Government Administration Committee.  Chairman is Rep. Kifowit and Vice-Chairman is Rep. Slaughter.   You can send to each committee member, too, of course, and ESPECIALLY if one of them is YOUR Representative!   Your message can be as simple as SUPPORT HOUSE BILL 688!!! AND SIGN YOUR NAME!
