This petition is presented for your consideration by the Board of Directors of the Graue Mill and Museum, and we are licensed by the DuPage County Forest Preserve to operate the entire facility.

There is a small but noisy group that is interested in the removal of the dam and the relocation of the bed of Salt Creek away from the Mill! They have started a petition campaign, too! however, their request is the REMOVAL of the dam!  They are using the name of the Mill, and proclaiming that the removal of the dam will somehow make the area "better".  While they are probably well-meaning folks, they are using the name of Graue Mill without license or permission to do so. 

PLEASE DON'T BE CONFUSED by unseemly efforts of those using the name of the Mill and the Museum without permission; and who are working against the best efforts of the Mill and our decades-long presence on the banks of Salt Creek.
