As usual when the people band together and begin the push for what they deserve, there's some push back. The Landing Lights Dog Run Group has grown and we are organized! There is a website: http://landinglightsdogrun.org We are attending Community Board meetings, meeting with Partnerships for Parks, Councilman Constantinides, and making our cause more visible. We are standing out and that visibility has caused the Park Police to come and threaten to write tickets. It has caused a handful of neighbors to bombard 311. NOW more than ever, we need this petition to grow, especially residents of Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, East Elmhurst, Astoria. The Parks Department will support making this dog run official if we can show that we have the community's support!!!!! COME ON FRIENDS!!!!!
