It is time for residents of NY State to pass legislation protecting our children from pedophiles, child pornography, and child trafficking.  We demand:

Mandatory minimum 5 year sentences for all persons convicted of a single charge of pedophilia or child pornography.

Mandatory life in prison for child trafficking.

Mandatory life in prison for any repeat offenders of child sex abuse or child pornography.

Allocate more funding to infiltrate sex trafficking and pornography rings. 

Recently, there has become an increased interest in protecting children from sexual predators.  While this attention is long overdue, we need to fight for meaningful change.

What doesn't help kids is subscribing to conspiracy theory.  Organizations that protect children and investigate these crimes are currently being overwhelmed by calls from people who are listening to internet rumors.

We encourage anyone who has concerns about specific children to continue to come forward.

In reality, the majority of abuse happens at the hands of a parent, close, relative, or trusted family friend.. Often, the accused is able to plead.guilty to a lesser charge, such as endangering the welfare of a child.  These monsters often receive probation or very little jail time.  This process needs to change.  We need to protect our children.
