The covid-19 pandemic has seen far-reaching effects, and in NTU, exchange students have been called back and exams have been mostly pushed forward. Students are facing undue stress as many still have assignments due in the coming weeks and will have little time to study, even as less content will be tested.

Moreover, as exchange students are called back, project groups have been affected and the remaining group mates have to work doubly hard to complete their assignments. 

As NTU prides itself in being a top-notch university intent on preserving “academic rigour”, it would benefit both the students and the university to give some leeway for this semester. As such, we propose that the university give students the option to SU this semester should they require it.
