Andrew Johns is the halfback of the century, the eighth immortal, and the best rugby league player I've ever seen.

The have built a statue of Wally Lewis in Brisbane, they're going to build one for Jonathon Thurston, other sports have commemorated their greats, so the greatest of all time deserves a statue of his own.

Yes, he has a stand named after him, but I want a big bronze statue that I can get a photo with.

Andrew Johns should have a statue built of him in Newcastle, as a permanent reminder of everything he did for this town and region, and a constant reminder that the greatest there ever was is one of ours.
