I wanted to reach out to you all and thank you for your patience and interest in the petition we've presented to the NSUARB regarding the business practices of See Site Tours.

The Board has had our petition for over 90 days now. I reached out to Lisa Wallace last week regarding the matter. She replied to me today and I present to you her response.

When I receive further updates, I will contact you all to keep you informed.

Hello Lisa,
 
I would like to know the status of the petition that was submitted to the Board requesting a public hearing into the business activities of See Sight Tours. The board has had the petition for well over 90 days at this point to consider.
 
With the large number of recent motor carrier applications that have been put to the board, our request for a hearing needs to take precedence before these applications that came in at a much later date. Time is drawing near for the coming tourism season and once started, the signors of the petition will likely find it difficult to attend a hearing should one be granted. 
 
I respectfully ask the Board to expedite our request for a hearing at the nearest possible date.

Good afternoon Jeff,

The Board understands that the parties would like a hearing before the commencement of tourist season, but matters like this have to be reviewed, investigated and sent to Board counsel for review before a Notice to Appear can be issued.

The matter is proceeding along its course, and we will advise once a Notice to Appear is completed.
