INJUSTICE=INSANITY
The Issue
Do what's right and Grant Justice!
- Insanity is to do the same thing over and over again expecting a different result .
- ~Albert Einstein
- Fact: You cannot teach to do right by continuing to do wrong
- JUSTICE IS NOT AN EYE FOR AN EYE THAT’S INSANITY!!!
$TOP $PENDING $ENSELESSLY
Unbelievable and heart-wrenching a total of $1.5 million spent in effort to carry out executions By Arizona department of corrections while facing a budget crisis .
For Arizona’s as myself this is a senseless act with poor judgment is very inhumane and needless to say Careless by the State of Arizona to allow this when we are living in a PANDEMIC victims to Covid-19 our homelessness rate sky high the department of corrections invoice for this was very upsetting 1.5 million could have been of great use to those who are facing homelessness living on the streets of Arizona with mental health unidentified and untreated AZ death rate on the streets by substance abuse / “opiates” and of those with mental health and substance abuse combined Arizona’s Injustice system keeps them on the hamster wheel of recidivism.
S.M.I
- Stop Mass Incarceration
By placing those with mental health or not and substance abuse or not repeat offenders on probation leading to find some fees is the hook and main reason why we have a problem in Arizona with mass incarceration.
Arizona recently also named the number one worst state to live in Governor Doug Deucy has also recently cut unemployment benefits too promote a bonus for back to work this act will lead those with a criminal record already financially struggling to commit another needless petty crime to make ends meet.
MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

These person’s are especially in great danger for prisons will only amplify the symptoms of a person who’s already paranoid and afraid of their own mind stressed out now for those that might have a family the worry if they’re being tended to while they’re now Detained is enough to trigger an episode’s especially important for court systems and police officers to take mental illness into account since Maricopa County makes up nearly 62% of convictions in the state alone
50% of persons with mental illness are rearrested and returned within the first year however the longer the time period the higher the reported recidivism but the lower the actual threat to the public persons with mental health in Arizona are receiving longer sentences the mentally ill are more likely to violate a facility rule due to their mental illness
Yes….There is available medication but limited!!
MARICOPA COUNTY IN THE STATE OF ARIZONA
- Stop borrowing perception!!!
Estimated the population of 7.2 million and growing
United States census data report Arizona has the 14th the largest homeless population in the country over 40% of adults experiencing homelessness in Maricopa County self-reported serious mental more than 12,200 inmates 25% of the total population requires ongoing medical health care.
A person with a mental illness is more likely to be the victim of a senseless violent crime than the perpetrator in the state of Arizona a person can be involuntarily admitted for evaluation ONLY when and if they are considered a danger to themselves or other’s.
- Mental health affects a person’s ability to function.
Arizona unfortunately, only 40% of a person living with a Mental illness get treated sadly enough Phoenix had over 40 police shooting in 2018 people shot by Phoenix believed had a history of incarceration a panel illness a drug use contributed Arizona is 8 in the top 10 or highest prison population 40,000 plus people including prisons jails immigration detention center juvenile justice facilities meaning that it locks up a higher percentage of its people
Maricopa County court systems also continue to borrow perception & influenced by social media with #stigma there’s no justice for a person with mental health who is facing conviction charges for the first time or one reentering the injustice system.
- Is your county FAILING you?
As the wife and sister to a person with mental health behind bars I have 1st hand lived and felt the injustice my state has to offer we must fight for our loved ones identify and treat persons with mental health reduce mass incarceration of persons living with mental health and House those on our street everyone deserves a place to sleep that does not equal Prison nor Jail.
My children are currently paying for a sentence that is providing Justice for no One !!!
As their fathers “Historical prior convictions and criminal record” was b a key point in time of sentencing .
NOT Daddy’s HISTORICAL mental health record .
Please sign thank you in advance
- Hebrews 13:3—Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering
